What we publish
Time to 100 compares the time taken by exact vehicle variants to accelerate from rest to 100 kilometres per hour. The index covers new and used vehicles from global markets and separates manufacturer claims from independently measured road-test results.
We are not a vehicle marketplace and do not infer performance from sales advertisements. Vehicle availability, specifications and test conditions vary between countries, model years and individual cars.
Our editorial standard
- Match the exact vehicle. We identify the model year, engine or motor configuration, drivetrain, transmission and body style wherever the source permits.
- Prefer primary evidence. Official manufacturer specifications are preferred for claimed figures. Independent figures must come from a clearly identified instrumented road test.
- Keep test standards separate. A 0–60 mph result is not silently presented as a 0–100 km/h time. Rollout, launch control and other relevant qualifications are labelled.
- Correct the record. Figures are reviewed as manufacturers release new specifications or better evidence becomes available.
